It’s difficult to imagine juggling work, classes, an internship, being involved with the Rutgers University radio Station and other organizations, and doing well in it all. Kayla Duran, a sophomore at Rutgers, New Brunswick, has managed to do all of this — and still have a social life.

Brian Roach attributes his decision to attend Rutgers University, as well as much else in his life, to having a younger cousin born with Down syndrome. Her struggle instilled in him the importance of family and the desire to stay both physically and emotionally close to them.
